Window Tint History

In 1966 the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company (also known as 3M Company) registered the first window film patent. Just months before 3M's 1966 patent, my father established Acorn Glass Tinting. Shortly after my father passed away in 2018, I began working on a documentary about the History of Window Tinting. This project is a tribute to the early pioneers of the window tinting industry. - E.M.
